Job Description
United Staff Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join a dynamic school team in Newark NJ. The ideal candidate will support students with special needs in classroom and one-on-one settings collaborating closely with teachers and school staff to ensure a safe inclusive and positive learning ResponsibilitiesProvide instructional and behavioral support to students under the direction of a certified teacherAssist students with academic work mobility personal care or communication as neededPromote independence and inclusion for students with varying learning and behavioral needsMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school environmentMonitor classroom activities and assist with lesson implementationHelp manage classroom behavior and provide redirection as necessaryQualificationsBachelors (Required)Paraprofessional/Teacher Assistant Certification (Preferred)Experience working with children or students with disabilities is a strong plusPatient caring and flexible attitude with strong communication skillsMust be authorized to work in the Work with United Staff GroupAt United Staff Group we are more than just a staffing agency we are your career partner in the field of education.
