Job Description
- Continuous development and management of the Electrical Installation and Schematics team.
- Manage work packages within project management tools (e.g. JIRA Microsoft Office) ensuring accurate capacity planning and task allocation.
- Preparation of installation drawings schematics and production documentation with the team.
- Working in PLM systems (SmarTeam Teamcenter) and tooling landscapes to streamline workflows.
- Change management based on feedback from production and in alignment with the Lead Engineer.
- Facilitate the adoption of the current designs to American Railway Standards.
- Creation/Optimization and establishment of engineering processes guidelines and work instructions.
- Ensuring that the relevant electrical engineering work packages adhere to both cost and schedule requirements.
- Collaboration with cross functional department (System Engineers Mechanical Project Management Production and Quality) throughout product development stages.
- Lead technical releases of articles 3D models drawings and associated documentation ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Ensure all electrical installation schematic and design activities meet company standards safety regulations and customer specifications.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
- 5 years in electrical engineering with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Knowledge of Catia V5 or other 3D-Modelling tools
- Experience with Zuken E3 JIRA and Smarteam/Teamcenter is advantageous
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven management experience within an engineering team
- Familiarity with production processes and installation instructions
- Ability to effectively function in an international working environment
