Job Description

Future Advisor Program Requirements

  • College students entering junior or senior year
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week for a maximum of 12 weeks
  • Business/Finance major or equivalent as determined by the Executive Vice President in his/her sole discretion
  • 3.0 or higher-grade point average
  • Desire to be in financial sales
  • Actively involved in local community and exhibits leadership skills (e.g. fraternity/sorority involvement sports teams community service campus clubs associations etc.)
  • Must be driven have an entrepreneurial spirit and be results-oriented
  • Established oral and written communication skills

Skills

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

Document Management: Knowledge of document management; ability to categorize integrate update document and distribute business information in a secure effective way.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies practices and tools for administering projects.
