Job Description
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on computers according to established procedures
- Scheduling and tracking dates of preventive maintenance
- Preparing maintenance document procedures using Microsoft applications
- Assisting with input of data into software programs as directed by Network Managers
- Assisting with upgrades to software as requested by Network Managers
- Assisting with assessment of out-of-service devices on ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) network
- Performing all other tasks assigned by the Network Managers
- Minimum of two years of direct network experience
- Minimum of two years of experience in help desk support
- Skilled in Help Desk skills including but not limited to maintaining and troubleshooting Computer Workstations.
- Ability to install and upgrade approved software programs
- Skilled with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information in understandable terms.
- Ability to work alternate work schedules and be on-call 24 hours/day.
- Ability to read write and comprehend technical correspondence related to this position
