Job Description
We are working closely alongside with Achieve Together to assist with the appointment of a Support Worker on a 1-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.21 - 15.70 per hour
Summary:
As a Support Worker with Achieve Together you will play a key role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities autism or other complex needs to live fulfilling and independent lives. You will provide person-centred care emotional support and practical assistance to help service users achieve their goals develop life skills and actively participate in their communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Support with daily living tasks including personal care meal preparation medication and household chores.
- Promote independence and empower individuals to make their own choices.
- Uphold Achieve Togethers values of Respect Integrity and Excellence in every aspect of work.
- Respond effectively to challenging situations while following behaviour support plans and safeguarding policies.
Qualifications:
- Good standard of education (e.g. GCSEs or equivalent).
- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Essentials:
- Previous experience in a care or support role is beneficial
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities autism or mental health needs.
- Valid UK driving licence
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
