We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiasticBand 6 Neuro Occupational Therapistto join our clients specialist neurological service inBury Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated therapist with a passion for neurorehabilitation to work within a supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team. This position is available on alocum basiswith animmediate startand offerscompetitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
As a Neuro Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for independently managing a caseload of patients with complex neurological conditions working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists speech and language therapists neuropsychologists and medical and nursing staff. You will carry out comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify individual needs and deliver tailored interventions both one-on-one and in group settings. Your role will involve coordinating and overseeing treatment plans facilitating therapeutic groups composing detailed reports and actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings. You will also supervise therapy assistants where appropriate maintain effective communication with patients families and external professionals and ensure all clinical practice aligns with organisational policies statutory regulations and quality standards.
