Ford Motor Company is undertaking an effort to deploy SAP material management functionality to support Manufacturing production operations. We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Project Manager and Cutover Lead to manage the transition of business operations to a new SAP environment.

An ideal candidate will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing the cutover activities across multiple workstreams ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
This is a hybrid position and the team currently is onsite 4 days /week in our collaboration space at Ford ITHQ-C (Allen Park MI). Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do
Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation migration or upgrade projects using SAP Activate methodology:
- Define project scope objectives timeline deliverables and success criteria in alignment with business goals
- Ensure seamless project execution from Prepare to Run phase managing risks issues and dependencies
- Collaborate with business stakeholders SAP consultants and IT teams to drive project milestones
- Oversee and support project governance compliance and change control processes.
- Support sprint planning backlog management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain project documentation including roadmaps RAID logs and status reports.
Project Management support for Cutover Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage the cutover strategy plan and detailed execution roadmap for SAP S/4HANA implementation
- Define and coordinate cutover governance roles & responsibilities and stakeholder alignment
- Work with business IT and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on cutover activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with system downtime data migration and business continuity.
- Develop and execute mock cutovers to validate and refine the cutover approach
Data Migration & System Readiness:
- Coordinate with data migration teams to ensure timely and accurate data transfer
- Validate that all SAP S/4HANA system configurations and integrations are ready for go-live.
- Ensure that all necessary pre-cutover and post-cutover activities are completed on schedule.
- Testing & Hypercare
- Oversee cutover testing dress rehearsals and dry-run execution
- Work closely with the testing teams to ensure system stability post-cutover
- Lead hypercare support post-go-live ensuring smooth transition and issue resolution
Stakeholder & Change Management:
- Collaborate with business leaders IT teams and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
Communicate cutover status risks and contingency plans to senior leadership and stakeholders. - Drive user adoption by coordinating training and support for end-users.
QualificationsYoull have...
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Systems Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 6 years of SAP project management experience with at least 3 years leading SAP S/4HANA projects that includes:
- Expertise in managing complex SAP deployments including multi-country rollouts.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global multicultural environment.
- Work experience with SAP Activate methodology and/or agile project management.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud solutions.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on risk management and mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver product roadmap milestones
- Knowledge of software design patterns
- 2 years of experience with PM tools including Jira SharePoint
