Position Summary: Washburn Universitys Music department invites applications for Adjunct (Applied Clarinet). The position will begin academic year 2025-2026.

Essential Functions:
Teach Applied Clarinet
Perform in Faculty WW Quintet
Perform in Washburn University Faculty Trio
Teach music courses assigned to fit successful applicants qualifications.
Recruit students and maintain public profile as a performer and teacher.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned or as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Doctorate in Music ABD and Masters degrees applicants will be considered.
Earned Masters degree in Clarinet performance.
Successful record of Collegiate level teaching and performance.
Successful recruiting and retaining of undergraduate music students.
Demonstrated dedication to developing inclusive teaching practices that engage all learners.
Official educational transcripts will be required at time of hire.
