Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Collaborates with team members to deliver high-quality project outcomes for airport facility initiatives
-
Manages project reporting and controls activities including:
-
Planning and scheduling
-
Cost estimating and analysis
-
Cost control and engineering
-
Change management
-
-
Reviews contracts drawings estimates and specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements
-
Oversees project controls procedures cost tracking performance activities logistics systems and closeout processes
-
Directs cost estimating and control functions
-
Leads schedule development updates impact identification and recovery planning
-
Supports project meetings with documentation administrative tracking and follow-up actions
-
May assist with coordination and monitoring of construction management staff contractors engineers and architects
-
May assist with construction contract documentation data input document control and preparation of status reports for management
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management Architecture or Engineering (preferred)
-
3 years of experience in project/program controls and construction management on large public facility projects
-
Proficient in scheduling (CPM) project controls claims analysis and document control
-
Familiarity with construction management methods procedures and best practices
-
Strong written verbal and computer skills
-
Self-starter with a focus on results and accountability
-
Demonstrated reliability accuracy and thoroughness in job responsibilities
-
Experience coordinating with architects engineers general contractors and subcontractors
-
Experience with tools such as Primavera Sure Track or Microsoft Project (preferred)
-
Familiarity with Design/Build and other alternative delivery methods (preferred)
-
Preferred certifications: CCM PMP or Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
