The Clinical Improvement Department seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Improvement Analyst to join our team with focus on the Communications Center. This role focuses on evaluating 911 call reviews providing constructive feedback and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
911 Call Review: Conduct and document routine and special reviews of 911 call-taking ensuring compliance with agency and IAED standards.
Performance Feedback: Provide timely actionable feedback to credentialed Emergency Medical Dispatch employees to support performance improvement.
Data Analysis: Analyze findings from call reviews to identify improvement opportunities and present insights to stakeholders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in activities related to routine and special clinical investigation medical incident review and subsequent remediation. Conducts the review of EMS calls 911 call-taking and/or patient care to ensure meeting of case review requirements. Prepares and/or delivers case review feedback to credentialed employees in a timely manner based on industry and/or Agency standards.
- Analyze clinical performance and investigative findings to inform improvement opportunities. Prepares and delivers findings from clinical data analysis to internal and external stakeholders including the recommendation of simulation and in-service content topics and scope of practice scenarios.
- Assesses Paramedic EMT and Telecommunicator core knowledge and skill competency using validated scenarios in which providers interact with advanced technology human patient simulators within a realistic setting/environment.
- Participate and support Agency improvement work including serving on and/or leading departmental and Agency-level projects.
- Provide support to and participate as needed to the medical services department in activities such as monthly online/in-person in-service annual simulation administration and employee credentialing processes.
- Supports staff recertification processes monitors employee performance and ability to recertify. Monitors key measures for tracking of clinical performance improvement.
- Participates in department and agency-wide activities to include meetings trainings and workgroups as directed. Ensures maintenance and compliance with all trainings and/or certification requirements
- This position will be responsible for reviewing and returning incomplete or incorrect ePCRs
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- HS Diploma or equivalent; and two (2) years of experience as a field provider or front line Telecommunicator (EMD/EFD); or equivalent combination of education and experience (EMS experience involving the delivery of services requested by the public)
- MUST possess and maintain the following certifications: EMD or EFD
