Employment Type:Full Time

Pay Range:$22.00 - $27.00 per hour

(Onsite will travel between Farmington Millcreek and Downtown SLC)

This position will primarily support Schomp dealerships in Utah.

Responsibilities:

  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. IP addressing DNS DHCP etc.)

  • Familiarity with Level 1 support tasks including but not limited to:

    • Imaging and deploying hardware (laptops desktops printers)

    • Troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS issues

    • Managing user accounts and permissions

    • Assisting with mobile device management

    • Supporting basic AV setups for meetings

    • Handling ticketing system requests and documenting resolutions

  • Prioritize respond to and resolve IT-related issues promptly ensuring high customer satisfaction. Log and track all support requests in the ticketing system.

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone email or in-person including new employee IT orientation.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware software and network problems.

  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions for technical issues.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams or vendors as necessary.

  • Perform routine maintenance on IT systems and infrastructure.

  • Install configure and update software and hardware as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

  • 2 years Desktop Support/Helpdesk Technician experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills required.

  • Research and troubleshooting skills.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver license.

  • Must possess and maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
