Job Description
About the Client:
Our client is a leading main contractor with a strong presence across Southeast Asia specializing in complex mission-critical projects including hyper scale data centers. With several high-value projects in the pipeline they offer excellent career growth in one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning Oversight:
Lead and supervise the commissioning process for data center projects ensuring all systems and components are installed tested and operational according to design specifications and industry standards.
Project Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers engineers contractors and clients to develop and execute commissioning plans schedules and procedures.
Testing and Validation:
Oversee the testing and validation of critical systems including electrical mechanical HVAC fire suppression and security systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation including test procedures reports and certification records.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all commissioning activities comply with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process working closely with the project team to implement effective solutions.
Reporting:
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on commissioning progress issues and outcomes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field).
2. Strong project management skills and experience
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Familiarity with data center infrastructure is a plus.
