Job Description

Serves as the Operations Coordinator I in the School of Nursing (SON). Works under the direction of the Dean SON and exercises discretion and independent judgment in coordinating all operational support functions for the SON including but not limited to nursing faculty and Assistant Dean(s). This is a full-time in-person position located on Tarleton State Universitys main campus in Stephenville Texas. Work hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate. Some evenings and weekends may be required pending scheduled activities.

Responsibilities:

60% Operations Coordination Duties

  • Participates in the planning and execution of SON operations including office procedures.

  • Develops operational procedures in collaboration with SON/COHS leadership to align with COHS and University policies and procedures.

  • Assists with the data entry and accuracy of the SON workload database system.

  • Supports SON Faculty Assembly (FA) committees.

  • Maintains the SON calendar and schedules Faculty Assembly (FA) committee meetings.

  • Records meeting minutes and tracks completion of tasks for various Faculty Assembly(FA) committees.

  • Coordinates travel arrangements prepares itineraries and facilitates submission of expense reports for faculty Track Coordinator(s) and Program Director(s).

  • Provides logistical and operational support for faculty staff and student events meetings and other special functions for the SON.

  • Assists with the maintenance of student rosters faculty roster and phone/email list of faculty and staff.

  • Oversight and training of student workers.

  • Manages SON reception desk.

15% Compliance and Special Project Duties

  • Support Program Director(s) with report timelines and compliance with regulatory reporting as required.

15% Records Management Duties

  • Ensures student and faculty retention policies and procedures are followed.

10% All other Duties as assigned by the Dean School of Nursing or designee

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Competent in the use of word processing spreadsheets databases presentation applications email/calendar system and online meeting applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Planning and organizational skills.

Salary

Commensurate with experience

Salary Range

The target base annual salary range is $41000 to $50761 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
