As part of the Division of Pediatric Genetics and Metabolism at UF Health this Clinical Service Representative II position serves a Genetic Counseling Assistant and is part of a team assisting genetic counselors with ordering and tracking genetic testing and metabolic nutritionists with newborn screening laboratory follow up. In the course of their duties the incumbent will under the direction of the Genetic Counselors and metabolic nutritionists be responsible for the coordination of insurance authorization and genetic/metabolic testing coordination for the purposes of genetic diagnostic testing and newborn screening follow-up.

Ordering Metabolic Formula and other supplies as necessary:
$18.00; commensurate with education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant office experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Bachelors degree with an interest in public health genetics nutrition and/or counseling
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Experience with Epic (or other electronic medical records systems)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn
