You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the management of the Associate Dean of Academic Program and the lead of the Associate Director of Grants and Assessment the incumbent will assist with the coordination of various Academic Success programs such as but not limited to the College of Engineering Tutoring Center Engineering Honors Track data compilation and various center services. Furthermore the incumbent will be responsible for advising third attempts by creating individualized tutoring schedules along with providing additional advising support to the advising team during SOAR.
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of CSU admissions General Education curriculum and academic advising policies and procedures. They must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills strong organizational abilities personal motivation and sound independent judgment. The ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse community maintain cooperative relationships with a wide range of faculty and staff adapt to change and function productively within a team environment is essential.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
Equivalent to a bachelors degree in one of the behavioral sciences public or business administration or a job-related field and two years of directly related experience required.
Masters degree in counseling education psychology STEM education or other social science disciplines and at least two years of work related to managing a student service preferred.

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5083 - $7228 per month.
Excellent benefits through CalPERS (health vision dental) tuition fee waiver generous vacation and sick leave and 14 paid holidays each year.
1.0 time-base 40 hours per week.
