Family Medicine Residency Program Director
Location:Immokolee FL
We are seeking a dedicated and Family Medicine Residency Program Director (FMRPD) to lead the development management and ongoing oversight of our Family Medicine Residency Program. The FMRPD will ensure compliance with all ACGME requirements oversee faculty and curriculum development and foster an educational culture focused on clinical excellence scholarly activity and continuous improvement.
This position is 80% clinical and 20% administrative. The ideal candidate is board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Family Medicine Residency Program in alignment with ACGME standards.
- Design and update residency curriculum educational objectives and rotation schedules.
- Recruit evaluate and mentor faculty; promote faculty development and scholarly activity.
- Oversee program accreditation activities including preparation of documentation and participation in site visits.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of resident education and clinical experiences.
- Participate actively in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Committee and related institutional activities.
- Ensure compliance with all institutional policies ACGME requirements and regulatory standards.
- Maintain active clinical practice in ambulatory and/or inpatient settings.
- Participate in patient-centered medical home initiatives including team meetings and care planning.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
- Current board certification in Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license.
- DEA license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 3 years as an administrator clinician and educator in a Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Experience with ACGME accreditation processes and program development preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); Athena experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.
