Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Rearsby Leicester
Position Type: Permanent 37.5 hours

Qdos is a division of Tokio Marine HCC focussing on the sale of Insurance products and Consultancy services to the self-employed.
Qdos are business insurance and employment status specialists dedicated to the self-employed. We provide business insurance and compliance advice to UK limited companies and sole traders as well as the recruitment agencies and businesses that engage them. Based in our purpose-built office in rural Leicestershire with countryside views you will be part of a growing sociable team with plenty of events and celebrations (we are rarely short of a few snacks in the office!). We are currently operating a flexible working policy which enables you to work from home two days a week and we have the opportunity to get involved in local environmental projects volunteering days and other optional activities.
Job Purpose:
Were looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing team at Qdos. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to gain broad experience across multiple marketing functions from admin to creative campaign execution.
As a key team player youll support the planning delivery and analysis of marketing activity with opportunities to contribute ideas explore new social media trends and be involved in exciting projects that drive our brand forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Support
- Assist with research on competitors customer demographics and market trends.
- Help create marketing materials including presentations and newsletters.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics when required.
- Manage marketing inventory including promotional materials and supplies.
- Provide general support to the marketing team to help maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
- Liaise with external vendors partners and agencies when required.
Social Media
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms as needed.
- Monitor and respond to engagement across social channels.
- Act as the go-to person for identifying and testing new social platforms and digital channels Qdos could leverage.
- Stay ahead of industry and social media trends. Proactively suggesting ideas the brand can jump on to boost visibility and engagement.
Event Coordination
- Assist in the organisation of trade shows webinars and promotional events.
- Manage event logistics prep materials and support post-event follow-ups.
Skills and Experience Specification:
- A degree in Marketing or Communication
- Some experience in a marketing or administrative support role.
- A keen interest in digital marketing and social media trends.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
