Program Summary
IRCOs Workforce Development Sector of 45 staff provides culturally appropriate career services and wrap-around support to immigrants refugees and the community at large so that they can reach their full potential. Career Coach staff provide skills coaching career exploration and career plan development for targeted industries to participants with the goal of securing career track employment and livable wages.
Position Summary
A Home For Everyone Program serves people who are houseless/housing insecure to find employment and/or training to make them a higher qualified candidate. The program is funded through Worksystems and the A Home For Everyone initiative.
The Career Coach staff in this role will provide skills coaching career exploration and career plan development for targeted industries with the goal of helping participants secure career track employment and livable wages. The Career Coach will provide these services needed throughout the program focused on long-term guidance and coaching for participants as they work through a career plan including progression through training and into employment. The Career Coach will work with other project partners and IRCO programs to provide resources and wrap-around support.
