Hourly Rate $25.00

This is a Temporary Full-Time position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Career Center Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Aids with the daily administrative operations of the center. Interacts with employees management and external stakeholders to maintain a pleasant and productive work environment. The position requires knowledge of procedures techniques and practices involved in carrying Eckerds mission.
  • Supports a work environment consistent with the companys mission core values and culture.
  • Provides technical assistant and guidance to center staff on center operations.
  • Assists leadership with the on-boarding of new employees.
  • Supports with the scheduling and coordinating of internal training and staff development courses as needed.
  • Serves as a resource for employees for resolving minor in-office concerns. Will consult with center leadership for additional support.
  • Resolves any concerns in an objective and pleasant manner.
  • Operates office equipment such as fax machines copiers or phone systems and arranges for repairs when equipment malfunctions.
  • Exhibits professionalism diplomacy and the ability to appropriately interact with management staff and customers at all times.
  • Manages schedules and coordinates appointments and meetings on behalf of leadership team.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the career center services and programs.
  • Provides exceptional and positive customer service.
  • Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative/office procedures and policies.
  • Composes and prepares confidential correspondence reports and other documents as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory of office supplies and additional internal items.
  • Arranges detailed travel plans and itineraries as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Post High School education preferred.
  • Past experience working with the targeted population. 4 years relevant work experience. Two to three years in high-level administrative work.
  • Must have appropriate and valid state drivers license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerds Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.

Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards partnerships and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth adults and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training customized training on-the-job training incumbent worker training and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development academic instruction career & technical education and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop convene or implement industry or sector partnerships.
