We are looking for an accomplished Account Executive that will bring new customers to DroneSense. This role encompasses prospecting developing & closing business while focusing on customer requirements as well. The Account Executive will preferably have experience working with the public safety community with a knowledge of sUAS operations and a strong desire to build relationships and close deals.
Responsibilities
Work with Sales Director and sales team to achieve individual sales targets
Follow up on leads and build pipeline
Build relationship with key stakeholders in regions of focus
Effective lead generation followed by outreach
Developing and implementing sales plans to drive external growth. This will include contacting key decision-makers.
Educate clients and prospects on the benefits of utilizing DroneSense for their public safety UAS operations.
Gain and share an understanding of prospects organization processes strategies and long term goals.
Qualifications
5 years experience in technology sale
3 years of selling into SLED accounts
Experience with UAS sales
A go-getter with a proven track record of bringing in new customers & fresh leads.
Strong communication skills: verbal written and presentation
Proficient in G Suite
Proficient with HubSpot
Ability to anticipate customers needs and match them with appropriate products and services
Comfort with working under pressure in a start-up environment
Collaborative team player who can lead and influence
Willingness to travel up to 15% to client locations
Nice to Have
Experience serving or working with Public Safety
Experience with UAS or new technology preferred
*DroneSense employees full time US citizens who are current residence in one of the 50 contiguous United States. Though our positions are remote we do not work with offshore/near shore individuals or contractors to stay in compliance with our clients requirements.
