Job Title: Senior Electronics Buyer
Location: Remote (U.S. based ideally Eastern or Central time zones)
Employment Type: Full-time base salary & commission & performance bonuses

About the Company
RL People are working with a fast-evolving electronics reseller and e-commerce business with a strong foundation in retail wholesale and IT asset disposition (ITAD). Based in Florida transactions span across North America Europe and beyond with product arriving at the central facility for processing auditing and resale. Due to the current scaling we are looking for experienced electronics buyers who can assist with this growth.
The Opportunity
Were looking for proven Electronics Buyers to join as soon as possible! The right candidates will already be successfully purchasing from ITADs recyclers wholesalers and distributors with a strong background in used electronics particularly Apple and Microsoft products.
If youre a confident negotiator with an active network of vendors this role offers significant earning potential autonomy and the opportunity to shape a high-performing sourcing function within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase used electronics from ITADs recyclers and resellersfocusing on laptops (especially MacBooks) tablets phones and other gear.
- Quickly activate your existing vendor network to start purchasing $250K of product within the first few months.
- Build and grow a purchasing pipeline of 50 active suppliers capable of delivering $100K/month in product.
- Focus on healthy margins and mixed loads; working non-working and broken products.
- Evaluate and purchase loads with an understanding of e-commerce market performance and wholesale resale value.
- Collaborate with internal processing retail and wholesale teams to match sourcing with downstream sales demand.
- Stay on top of electronics trends market pricing and margin opportunities.
What Were Looking For
- 2 years experience in purchasing used electronics whether that be from ITADs wholesale distributors or any other avenues you see fit to expand within.
- A Rolodex of vendor contacts you can hit the ground running and start generating inventory from Day 1.
- Deep understanding of Apple Microsoft and other branded products condition grading and resale values.
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of hitting revenue goals and healthy profit margins.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and wholesale platforms.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work remotely and independently.
- Willingness to work on a performance-based compensation model with commissions and bonuses tied to profitability.
Compensation
- Base salary & Commission with additional performance bonuses available based on purchase volume and margin targets.
