Job Description
Job Summary:
The Advisor role is responsible for providing engineering and advisory support services to the various and applicable engineering teams.
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the applicable technical areas
- Bachelors degree in engineering required
- Graduate Degrees in engineering (or related field) preferred
- Knowledge of appropriate regulatory restrictions
- Proven ability to develop peer knowledge
- Proven ability to develop junior staff
- Proven ability to promote and manage client relationships
- Proven ability to manage specialist project team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Directly work on projects from various areas of engineering
- Develop and maintain working relationships with client base
- Available to participate in other engineering projects as required as a member of the team
- Participation and Contribution in the Viking Management Team
- Interact with clients and different Viking engineering discipline engineers
- Provide on the job training for junior staff
- Ensure correct project/deliverable documentation
- Responsible for adhering to GATE Energy policies and procedure in a positive manner
- Proactively work to create positive and professional culture within Viking
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background drug screen and or physical
