ATS is seeking a Middle Mile Performance Manager to help develop a world class logistics process that delivers goods on time at the best cost. Our team objective is to manage to excellence freight flowing through our North American transportation networks specifically focused on transportation carrier programs and performance.
Want to learn more about working with Amazon Transportation Services Check out this video! job responsibilities - Collaborate on the design development and delivery of key programs metrics reports analyses and dashboards to drive key business decisions across customer-facing programs. - Strategically assess how Linehaul most efficiently serves each program to identify opportunities and align with key stakeholders to insert Linehaul into the program decision-making processes. - Influence third party (3P) carrier leadership and Amazon technology teams to identify and drive process improvements that improve service iterate technology and enhance vendor engagement and growth. - Analyze data across databases (using Excel Access SQL Quicksight and/or other data management systems) and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed. - Identify appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability. - Tie KPIs and project goals to entitlement and track results. -Business writing is required to drive strategic initiatives - Traveling domestically 25% - 50%.
- 3 years of program or project management experience - 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience - 2 years of supply chain experience - Bachelors degree - Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience - 3 years of driving process improvements experience - Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization - Experience building processes project management and schedules - Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques
