Len-Tex Wallcoverings is a leading provider of high-quality vinyl wallcoverings. We are committed to delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Customer Service team.
Job Description: As a Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for processing sales orders preparing shipping documents and responding to customer inquiries via phone and email. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the order process from beginning to end.
- Answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a professional manner.
- Generate accurate shipping documents and labels for all shipments.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of the Vinyl Wallcovering production process.
- Advise the manager of any price/quote discrepancies and error messages in the ERP system.
- Respond to all customer inquiries and requests within one business day.
- Keep accurate notes in ERP system interactions.
- Work efficiently and accurately to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Participate in weekly Customer Service Meetings.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve processes.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Complete daily tasks such as preparing and sending shipment logs checking open orders and conducting cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Word Excel).
- Ability to operate office equipment (copier fax phone scanner).
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers co-workers and management.
- Proactive in gathering information to complete tasks.
- Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education and Experience:
- 1 years of experience in a customer service environment (manufacturing environment a plus).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
