Job Description
Now Hiring Press Brake Operators in North Las Vegas NV 89030 area.
Shift: Monday - Friday1st shift and Swing Shift available
Pay: $20 per hour
Responsibilities:
Configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings
Recognizing condition of dies
Loading materials onto the equipment
Feeding material through die
Positioning and removing parts from the die
Keeping a record of operational data
Performing routine equipment maintenance
Operating punch press machines to cut shape and form metal and other materials
Monitoring machine during operation to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
Performing preventative maintenance of machines and equipment
Maintaining accurate records of production
Setting up and operating punch presses to cut shape or form metal or plastic parts
Adjusting machine settings to complete tasks accurately
Aligning and securing holding fixtures cutting tools and materials onto machines
Loading programs and raw materials into machines
Inspecting finished parts for conformance to specifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum4 years experience working on an punch press or similar line .
- High school diploma / GED / or equivalent preferred.
- Candidate should possess ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and schematics.
- Long periods of time standing stooping sitting
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
