About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Female Disability Support Worker (DSW) to care for one if our female client in the Sunbury VIC area.
In this role you will find yourself:
- Proven experience supporting individuals with Autism Intellectual Disability
- Support participants with school drop-off and pick-up personal care domestic assistance and community participation ensuring their safety dignity and independence at all
- Must have clear communication skills and no thick accent to ensure participants can understand and engage effectively.
- Must hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Providing support as required
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client conditions.
- Collaborating with relevant stake holders to ensure a safe and positive environment for all clients.
We are looking for candidate who possesses the following:
- Certificate III or IV in Disability Individual Support or a related field (must-have)
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Workers Check (NDISWC)
- Working with Childrens Check (WWCC)
- Current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy patience and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities.
