Your Impact
Were looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help shape the future of our digital healthcare platform. In this role youll build critical features across our core backend systems drive the evolution of our architecture and create robust scalable services that power life-saving technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teamsincluding Product Operations and Customer Successyoull directly contribute to improving the lives of thousands of elderly people and their families. Youll also mentor fellow engineers and help cultivate a strong engineering culture of quality collaboration and ownership.
Your Mission
- Design build and maintain scalable and reliable services in a microservice architecture
- Power critical user-facing products: Webshop Customer Portal Backoffice and Mobile Apps
- Build and manage integrations with third-party tools including CRMs and payment platforms (e.g. Salesforce Chargebee)
- Collaborate closely with product managers designers and engineers to define technical requirements and ship impactful features
- Drive technical discussions participate in code reviews and help define best practices
- Support the full software lifecyclefrom idea to productionensuring high quality and resilience
- Contribute to the evolution of our platform architecture focusing on scalability maintainability and performance
- Provide mentorship and support to team members enabling technical growth and knowledge sharing
- Act as a partner to customer-facing teams to investigate and resolve complex issues quickly and effectively
Your Talent
- 8 years of experience in software engineering ideally in fast-paced startup environments
- Proven ability to own complex projects end-to-end and operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Deep expertise in Kotlin Java and Spring Boot
- Solid knowledge of microservice architectures distributed systems and event-driven design
- Experienced with PostgreSQL and key AWS services such as Lambda SQS EventBridge API Gateway DynamoDB Secrets Manager and S3
- Skilled in integrating third-party APIs and CRMs
- Familiar with Firebase including messaging and analytics
- Comfortable operating across the stack when needed
- Hands-on pragmatic and solutions-driven with a high attention to detail
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Chargebee
- Familiarity with Angular TypeScript HTML/CSS
- Exposure to Docker Kubernetes or similar containerization and orchestration technologies
- Interest in building for mobile platforms or wearables
