Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our growing team. This full-time position offers exciting opportunities to contribute to diverse projects across multiple locations including Doha Qatar and Riyadh Saudi Arabia Jeddah Saudi Arabia and Al Khobar Saudi Arabia. The Senior Estimation Engineer will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for our projects ensuring the financial viability and success of our operations.
Responsibilities
* Develop detailed cost estimates for various projects considering all aspects of materials labour equipment and subcontracts.
* Analyse project specifications drawings and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
* Conduct site visits to gather necessary information and assess project conditions.
* Prepare and maintain cost databases and historical cost information.
* Collaborate with other departments such as engineering procurement and project management to ensure accurate and timely cost estimation.
* Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
* Develop and present cost reports and presentations to management.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and cost estimating techniques.
* Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and develop contingency plans.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Senior Estimation Engineer preferably in the construction fitout or related industry.
* Strong understanding of cost estimating principles methodologies and software.
* Proficiency in using relevant software tools such as Microsoft Excel and cost estimating software.
* Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience working on international projects preferably in the Middle East region.
