Job Overview
Domopan Arabia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agriculture Engineer to join our team in Doha Qatar. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative agricultural projects within a dynamic and growing company. The Agriculture Engineer will play a crucial role in developing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices optimising crop production and contributing to the overall success of our agricultural initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Design develop and implement efficient irrigation systems tailored to the local climate and available resources.
* Oversee the selection planting and maintenance of crops ensuring optimal growth and yield.
* Conduct regular field assessments to monitor crop health identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
* Implement and manage sustainable agricultural practices to minimise environmental impact and maximise resource efficiency.
* Analyse data and prepare reports on crop performance identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of agricultural projects.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in agricultural technology and practices.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new agricultural initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in agricultural engineering with a focus on crop production and irrigation systems.
* Strong understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and environmental management.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in relevant software and technologies.
