The role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Avaus youll be part of multidisciplinary client teams likely in an Agile environment. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients business and technical stakeholders to understand the intricacies of complex data solutions. Your core responsibilities include designing and developing data processing solutions using various cloud vendors services. Youll also likely engage in the following:
Contribution to feature development from inception to delivery
Design and development of data solutions using leading cloud platforms
ETL and data analysis for providing valuable insights to our clients
Close collaboration with colleagues in data science marketing automation and strategy.

A Bachelors Degree in computer science mathematics or physics or a few years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python TypeScript or Java
Experience working with Cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
Proficiency in SQL and data modelling
Experience in report and dashboard development
Fluent in Finnish and English. Swedish is a plus
Practical information:
This is a permanent position with a 6 months probation period based at our Helsinki office at Albertinkatu 25. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace and you will report to Head of Tech Data & Analytics Mikael Montonen.
