Creation and management of eBOMs for design and mBOMs for downstream manufacturing; ensures accurate part listings quantities revisions and model traceability.
Understanding fabrication methods such as casting forging machining welding sheet-metal forming and wire harness assembly-along with their constraints quality and cost implications.
Mastery of Excel (formulas pivot tables macros) Word (documentation templates) and PowerPoint (presenting technical info); essential for reports BOMs and stakeholder communication.
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Windchill Teamcenter Agile etc.) for document control revision tracking ECO workflows and approvals
Organizing CAD files BOMs drawings revisions with structured naming version control backups and access control to maintain integrity and traceability across the product lifecycle.
