Respiratory Therapist/NICU Permanent Role - Location: Temple TX 76502
- Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Perform and direct administration of all respiratory care services as ordered by attending physicians.
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Review physician orders examine patient diagnostic test results and provide appropriate therapy based on the patients current condition.
- Implement approved protocols as directed by physicians.
- Assist in developing implementing and evaluating departmental operations policies procedures products and programs.
- Apply advanced data skills to resolve complex patient problems develop standards of care and evaluate the quality of respiratory care.
- Accurately document treatments therapies supplies used and file all corresponding charges.
- Report outcomes of therapeutic interventions and make recommendations as needed.
- Comply with infection control HIPAA time and attendance and social media policies.

Qualifications: - Education: Associate degree or two years of relevant experience above minimum requirements
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience
- Certifications/Licensure:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS): RRT-NPS from NBRC upon hire or within one year
- Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
