Job Description
Job Title: Adult Behavioral Health & Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Therapist
Location: Southgate MI
Salary:
- Fully Licensed: $28.90-$38.89/hour
- Limited License: $26.68-$35.91/hour
Shift: Monday-Thursday (8:30 AM-7:00 PM) Friday (8:30 AM-5:00 PM) Saturday (9:00 AM-1:00 PM)
Sign-On Bonus: $3000
Job Overview:
Seeking a dedicated LMSW to provide behavioral health and substance abuse therapy for adolescents and adults. Evening and occasional weekend availability is required based on program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and deliver treatment per medical necessity
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete authorizations
- Manage a caseload of clients with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses
- Collaborate with internal teams for comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Masters in Social Work Psychology or Counseling
- Active Michigan licensure (LLMSW LLPC LMSW LPC etc.) or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- CAADC credential or active MCBAP Development Plan within 6 weeks
- 1 year of experience with mental illness and substance use disorders (including internship)
- Strong communication documentation and organizational skills
- Must be culturally competent and flexible in care delivery
