Job Description
RN - Medical ICU Contract Role
Location: Rochester NY 14621
Duration: 13-Weeks Contract
Schedule: 12-hr Nights
Weekly Pay Range: $1908 $2016 Hours: 36/week guaranteed
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Monitor and assess patients vital signs lab results and overall health status.
- Administer medications treatments and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage care for conditions such as acute PE sepsis COVID hypothermia hyponatremia subdural hematoma COPD hypertension.
- Administer medications perform procedures and operate advanced medical equipment.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Travel RN experience is required
- EPIC charting experience is preferred
Certifications (AHA Required):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
License:
-
Active RN license in New York State.
Note:
- Locals accepted - local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 75 miles.
