Reporting Analyst with ideally an Accounting background.

They will be sorting through financial data to confirm accuracy.

Ideal candidate should be able to be in NYC 2 days per week but open for the right candidate.

If anyone has ever worked with Adenza (huge plus).

This the 2052A req area - so that would be a plus but not expected.

The Regulatory Reporting Analyst is responsible for the periodic preparation of assigned regulatory reports including the coordination data requests with various upstream data providers. Responsible for performing preliminary review of provided data to assess overall data quality and working with data providers to resolve identified data issues. This individual will be instrumental in improving the accuracy of regulatory reporting information in addition to the identification and implementation of process improvements to improve over all regulatory reporting efficiency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • (35%) Collect and process source input files from upstream business owners for input and processing within the Adenza regulatory reporting platform.
  • (25%) Review Adenza edit checks and perform required follow-up with business owners to resolve.
  • (15%) Document identified data quality issues after obtaining an understanding of root cause through discussions with upstream data providers.
  • (10%) Routinely complete required business process controls when preparing periodic reporting.
  • (10%) Assist in responding to internal and external audit or regulatory requests by gathering and organizing requested information.
  • (5%) Identify and raise inefficiencies and suggest possible process improvements where applicable based on knowledge of day-to-day processing of regulatory reports.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal state and local laws and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required Qualifications:

Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent).

Minimum experience required: 3 Years experience in financial analysis regulatory reporting or related roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Job Competencies:

Knowledge of financial regulatory reporting guidelines (FFIEC FDIC OCC and FRB).

Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts practices and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and interpret regulatory guidelines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and standards preferably in the financial services industry.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.

Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
