Job Description

Maintenance Technician
San Antonio TX

Full Time/ Direct Hire

About:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring optimal operation of manufacturing equipment through routine maintenance troubleshooting and repairs. This role requires expertise in electrical mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems along with the ability to interpret technical documents and work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Skilled with electric mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of solenoids contactors breakers controllers drives and various motors. (single multi-phase servo)
  • Proficient in basic computer applications. (MS Word Excel Outlook)
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
  • Basic math skills and use of measuring tools. (tape measure calipers scales)
  • Project management capabilities: identifying needs sourcing materials and completing jobs.
  • Organized safety-conscious able to work independently or with a team.
  • Quick learner who follows detailed instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience with automation and PLCs.
  • Operation of manual lathe and mill machines.
  • Strong grasp of technical documents and electrical codes. (local state national)
  • Advanced computer skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and document regular preventive maintenance on all facility equipment.
  • Repair and service machinery including CNC mills lathes compressors laser cutters etc.
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling high voltage heat moving parts chemicals and pressurized gases/liquids.
  • Manage inventory safely accessing parts stored at various heights.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers for troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Research order and track parts to ensure timely delivery.
  • Efficiently complete and close out work orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
