Job Description
Job Summary for SAP Upstream Finance Consultant
- Specialize in the upstream finance workstream focusing on Production Sharing Accounting (PSA) modules.
- Document functional design for customizations and developments within PSA.
- Provide expertise on SAP Best Practices for business processes and end-to-end process design in PSA.
- Build and unit test solutions within the broader Record to Report and Polaris solutions.
- Collaborate with testing data and training/OCM teams to enable solution delivery.
- Align with client workstream lead and Polaris Release Management on Program Increment planning.
- Prepare User Stories and pre-work for all in-scope features in planned Program Increments.
- Proactively mitigate risks identify co-engineering opportunities and work with SAP product/support teams.
- Support SAP/client functional or development teams in timely issue resolution.
- Assist with cutover deployment and Hypercare for solution releases.
- Escalate issues as needed and ensure appropriate resolution.
- Transfer project knowledge to the customer.
