Job Description :

Our client in the industrial space is looking for a Shipper/Receiver to come work on-site at their space in the Metro Vancouver area.

This is a growing company and a fast paced environment and they need someone who can look after inventory restock ordering parts and stock organizing deliveries loading and unloading and looking after customer inquiries and other customer service related tasks. You will also be equipped to handle some small equipment maintenance including testing minor repairs and inspections.

This is an environment where every day can be a bit different and you will thrive on the diversity and desire to take on new challenges.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-430pm with potential for lots of OT and some on-call work that may be required from time to time.

Compensation is up to $29 per hour depending on experience.

Benefits pension plan and paid time off.

Training provided and potential for some travel may be required depending on the needs of the business.

Qualifications :
-Previous experience in a shipping/receiving position
-Experience with customer service
-Experience with opening and closing duties
-Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
-Knowledge of heavy equipment an asset
-Mechanical skills an asset
-Forklift license an asset
-Legally authorized to work in Canada for any employer
