Job Description
A logistics company based in Westbury NY is seeking an experienced Accountant to support general ledger functions cost analysis and month-end close activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily general ledger activities and bank reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries accruals and account reconciliations
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze revenue and cost data; assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile and maintain multiple general ledger accounts
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related major preferred; CPA a plus
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in logistics or manufacturing industry is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Strong analytical and communication skills
