Position Summary: The National Sales Representative is responsible for obtaining outside sales growth for the company while maintaining customer relationships. The focus will be on large-scale projects which include Single-family home sales and new home development sites.
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
Present promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers
Identify leads manage prospects and acquire new business.
Establish develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Regular account evaluation determining revenue and profitability
Attends trade shows nationally to ensure our products are being offered to a wide range of prospects
Communicate with customers regarding products and pricing
Develops and refines productivity and quality standards to ensure business needs and quality requirements are met
Maintains confidentiality of all company & client information
Attends necessary company meetings training sessions and conferences
Travel to customer sites for meetings measurements and any other needs
Qualification Requirements:
Sales experience minimum 4 years selling cabinets in the single-family space.
Need to be selling to GC s and Developers to be considered for the position. Experience selling to distributors home depot menards or through a brick and mortar store would not be considered relevant experience.
Highly motivated and target-driven with abilities to manage a sales pipeline work towards a monthly quota and manage gross profit margins.
Excellent selling negotiation and communication skills
Microsoft/excel efficient
CRM (Oracle Net-Suite) Experience preferred
Bachelor s degree preferred but not required
Experience developing customers through lunch and learn presentations cold calling etc.
Able to create and establish structure and process across cross-functional teams
Valid driver s license and ability to be covered under company insurance
Ability to travel Nationally to prospects and clients as needed.
Average deal size should be $250K
Working Conditions/Environment: Works in a high pace office setting where the employee is required to speak read hear sit stand and walk. The employee will travel for trade shows and/or to meet customers. The noise level in the office is low to moderate times.
