Job Description

Job Title: Radiologist MD DNB DMRD Consultant
Location: Begusarai Bihar
Overview:
The Radiologist MD DNB DMRD Consultant plays a crucial role in healthcare focusing on diagnostic imaging to provide high-quality care to patients. This position is essential within the medical community in Begusarai Bihar where accurate diagnoses guide treatment plans and patient outcomes. The consultant will utilize various imaging modalities such as X-ray MRI and CT scans to identify diseases and abnormalities. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals ensures comprehensive patient management and fosters an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Additionally the consultant will help maintain the highest standards of care and contribute to the ongoing development of radiology services in the community. This position not only requires robust clinical expertise but also an emphasis on patient safety and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities.
  • Interpret and analyze imaging results for accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports of findings.
  • Consult with referring physicians to discuss imaging results.
  • Guide and educate patients regarding imaging tests.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions for comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during imaging procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Supervise and train junior radiology staff and trainees.
  • Manage patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Conduct research to enhance diagnostic methods and services.
  • Provide on-call support and consultations as required.
  • Engage in community outreach programs related to radiology.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education.
Required Qualifications:
  • MD in Radiology from a recognized institution.
  • DNB Radiology qualification.
  • DMRD (Diploma in Medical Radiology Diagnosis).
  • State Medical Council registration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical radiology.
  • Proficiency in various imaging technologies.
  • Strong understanding of radiological protocols and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in radiology.
  • Experience in conducting research or academic presentations is a plus.
