Overview
The PRT (Primary Resource Teacher) English Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of young learners particularly in developing their language skills and fostering a love for reading and writing. This position is fundamental in laying a strong foundation for students future academic endeavors. The teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to express themselves while cultivating essential English language proficiency. In addition to imparting knowledge the PRT English Teacher will work collaboratively with other educators and parents to ensure that each childs educational needs are met contributing to a holistic development strategy. Through innovative teaching methods the instructor will incorporate various resources to enhance learning and make lessons relevant to students lives. Ultimately this role significantly influences students confidence and communication skills and their overall outlook on education and lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles.
- Create engaging instructional materials that enhance students understanding of the English language.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Assess and evaluate students progress through tests assignments and observations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license in the relevant educational jurisdiction.
- Proven experience teaching English at the primary school level.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood literacy development principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
