Job Description
Network Security Architect (L3)
Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
Manage a comprehensive firewall strategy and other security measures to protect company
data and mitigate risks.
Spearhead service improvement projects in network and security domains enhancing
efficiency reliability and scalability.
Develop and enforce IT standards policies and procedures ensuring compliance with
regulatory requirements.
Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies staying ahead of trends and
advancements in network and security technologies.
Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of IT professionals fostering a culture of
continuous improvement and professional growth.
Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align the network and
security infrastructure with the strategic goals of the organization. Manage budgeting and
forecasting for network and security operations ensuring optimal resource allocation and
cost efficiency.
Required Skills
Graduate degree in Computer Science Information Systems or any equivalent bachelors degree.
7-10 years of experience
CCNP Security CISSP CISM or equivalent certifications required. Additional certifications (e.g.
CCIE CompTIA Security AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing secure network infrastructures including
firewalls VPNs intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS) and proxies.
Experience with cloud security solutions (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid-cloud environments.
Familiarity with security best practices and frameworks (NIST CIS ISO 27001 etc.).
Hands-on experience with cloud-native security technologies including VPC security identity &
access management (IAM) and cloud firewalls.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) for automation and orchestration of
security tasks is a plus.
Functional
Problem-Solving abilities will help stay on top of issues besides helping in resolving the same
smoothly & efficiently.
Good Interpersonal skills matters.
Systems and process knowledge are key drivers on the job.
