Where you ll be working
You will be working in the largest major hospital in Central Queensland, where redevelopment plans are underway for further expansions. This 305-bed facility is the main referral hospital in the region and treats more than 700,000 patients per year. The hospital offers a vast range of clinical, specialist and outpatient services, with a keen focus on community care, clinical excellence, and education.

The Urology Department at this hospital is made up of a longstanding team of specialists with a collective interest in providing progressive and efficient patient care in both a clinical and non-clinical setting. Here, you will have the opportunity to further develop the service while contributing to the development of the department into a stand-alone Urological unit. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting and complex cases, as well as exploring teaching and mentorship avenues with junior medical staff.

Salary information
Consultant Urologists can expect a total remuneration of up to $528,432 per annum, plus benefits.

Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), or equivalent.
