Job Description
Our client a leading force in the global supply chain sector is renowned for its commitment to sustainability and reliability with operations spanning the globe is looking for an experienced General Manager to drive the success of its operations.

Your Role
As General Manager you will take full commercial P&L and operational ownership of the Amsterdam branch driving growth and profitability in line with the companys regional strategy. Youll lead a team of dedicated professionals and work closely with internal product and sales teams to expand the companys multimodal portfolioincluding trailer container and value-added logistics services.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development while maintaining excellent service levels for existing clients
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance in all transport and admin processes
- Lead motivate and develop the local team with a focus on performance and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transport partners to ensure capacity
- Align local activities with regional and corporate goals
Requirements
- Proven track record in commercial leadership and P&L responsibility.
- Experience in general management within the logistics/transportation sector is a must.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Resilient adaptable and solutions-oriented
- Fluent in English and Dutch
