Our client a global manufacturing leader is seeking a skilled Engineer to support its Adhesives & Sealants (A&S) Division providing project process and engineering support to facilities in Orlando FL; Winchester KY; and Hanover PA. Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering RPC North America this role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence leading capital projects and supporting plant engineering and maintenance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage major capital projects overseeing budgets timelines vendor coordination and performance to design objectives
Collaborate with Plant Managers Engineers Technicians and other plant personnel to improve productivity equipment reliability and maintenance standards
Actively support maintenance excellence programs across multiple facilities
Evaluate and recommend new technologies including conducting vendor visits and selection
Provide hands-on support for engineering and maintenance needs as required including troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
Assist in identifying skill gaps among plant maintenance teams and participate in candidate evaluations
Maintain familiarity with company processes machinery and production systems
Travel to plant locations as needed (25% to 50%) and provide flexible support during extended hours or weekends when necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Plastics concentration preferred)
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in the plastics industry ideally in injection molding and profile extrusion
Proven experience with injection mold processing and troubleshooting
Strong technical knowledge in hydraulics pneumatics electrical systems automation and PLCs
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite CAD and project management tools
Previous project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
