REPORTS TO: Principals/Director of Curriculum Instruction and AssessmentJOB MISSION:Responsible for providing targeted job embedded support to strengthen instruction across our elementary classrooms including coaching and modeling effective instructional strategies; and collaborating with teachers and administration to help all students reach their highest DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be SKILLS AND a deep conceptual understanding of Massachusetts Curriculum an understanding of Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) data-based problem-solving skills effective collaboration skills including collaborative dialogue with teachers at all levels of knowledge and experience in a effective coaching skills to help district educators improve professional practice 6. Support MTSS Teams Leadership Teams and other school-based groups as they identify and explore effective instruction and teachers uncover areas of strength and growth teachers with planning sequencing and scaffolding of high expectations for all students and with teachers individually in collaborative teams and larger groups to provide practical support on a full range of instructional and provide feedback to teachers on instruction the highest level of confidentiality with colleaguesProfessional in district-level meetings 2.
