Job Description

JOB GOAL: The STEM Curriculum Coordinator will lead the development and implementation of high-quality curriculum instruction and assessment for grades K-5. Working under the Curriculum Director the coordinator will collaborate with teachers administrators students families and the community to ensure a rigorous developmentally appropriate and engaging STEM curriculum that aligns with state RESPONSIBILITIES:Must have the ability to:Collaborate with teachers on developing and implementing a cohesive curriculum in each STEM content with the selection and adoption of high-quality instructional current with research trends and regulations in education and share relevant insights with stakeholders. Plan coordinate and/or facilitate professional development workshops on curriculum implementation integrating evidence-based practices and utilizing effective instructional coaching to individual teachers and/or teacher teams related to curriculum planning instruction assessment and/or meeting the needs of all decision-making regarding budgetary needs and the allocation of resources for curriculum development and professional teachers with integrating technology and assessment tools appropriate for young district benchmark assessments and data student achievement and model data-driven decision-making by engaging teachers and administrators in regular data inquiry cycle meetings and analysis of student progress. Supervise interventionists fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with district reports and facilitate presentations on the status of programming and student consistent proactive communication with teachers administrators parents and the and maintain partnerships with local cultural institutions and organizations to enhance student learning collaboration among teachers across and between grade other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum and Staff Development
