Job Description
The Enrollment Division at the University of Denver which consists of Undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid seeks to attract and enroll students who will become leaders scholars artists entrepreneurs and public servants uniquely qualified to live in and shape a global society.

The Financial Aid Office is dedicated to serving and educating students families colleagues and the community through the financial aid process from pre-enrollment to program completion. We value empathy and integrity knowledgeable and professional staff advocacy and access clear and consistent communication and compliance. We have primary responsibility for the undergraduate financial aid process and we also serve the graduate student population.
Position Summary
The Diversity & Access Team supports the mission and goals of the Enrollment Division by striving to achieve a critical mass of academically talented and culturally dynamic students who are traditionally underrepresented on college campuses and more specifically at the University of Denver. Along with the entire Enrollment Division the Diversity and Access Team shares responsibility to attract excellent students by being sensitive to and understanding the diverse academic socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds of students.
The College Access and Group Visit Coordinator assists in building strong relationships with community-based organizations (such as Daniels Fund College Track and Denver Scholarship Foundation) oversee weekly Group Visits supervises the Group Visit Intern and leads our summer college access program Access DU. In addition this position will also act as the liaison to the Undergraduate Admission Visit Team.
Essential Functions
- Maintain and manage relationships with Pathway Partners.
- Oversee the Group Visit Program (Kindergarten through Community College Groups)
- Lead Access DU a complex visit experience for historically underserved and underrepresented groups.
- Supervise one student intern.
- Participate in special day-long visit programs throughout the year.
- Ensure that all touchpoints with students and stakeholders are delivered with exceptional quality service.

- Excellent written verbal and speaking skills.
- Highly organized.
- Coordinate multiple events and activities while maintaining focus on details and outcome.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Desire to be a member of a team focused on diversity equity and inclusion with the understanding and appreciation for cultural differences that impact the student experience
- Communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Provide our key constituents with exceptional quality service.
- Act independently to resolve issues enhance programs or facilitate initiatives with guidance from supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One year of office experience
- Experience working in higher education and/or with high school students.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with the University of Denver.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience as an event coordinator.
- Expertise with Microsoft software (Teams Word PowerPoint Outlook).
- Proficiency or fluency in more than one language.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferably Slate Technolutions.
Working Environment
- Standard office environment.
- Unexpected interruptions occur often and stress level is moderate to high.
- Noise level is quiet to moderate.
Physical Activities
- Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally required to move about the office/campus.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends.

Salary Grade Number
The salary grade for the position is 6.
Hourly Range
The hourly range for the position is$21.50 - $24.50.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate departmental budget availability internal salary equity considerations and available market information but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
