POSITION SUMMARY:
The Contract Specialist will develop coordinate and administer contracts for products and/or services for Primoris Renewables. They negotiate extend and renegotiate contracts as appropriate. They serve as a primary point of liaison with subcontractors and monitor existing contracts for compliance with terms and conditions.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate establish and administer contractual arrangements for various subcontract services.
- Evaluate or monitor contractor performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Analyze and approve or reject internal and/or contractor requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.
- Analyze price proposals financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices; review and interpret contract provisions to achieve cost efficiencies and reductions where feasible.
- Assesses contractor service value and product/service reliability relative to cost; plan organize and coordinate acquisition alternatives as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary liaison with contracting representatives to ensure compliance with contract specifications and resolution of problems and issues as they arise.
- Monitor and evaluate contractor performance against contract specifications and recommend appropriate remedial action as necessary.
- May assist and/or provide input into the formulation development and/or revision of operating policies procedures and strategies for the organization as appropriate.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in business administration or equivalent.
- Experience in solar power generation or construction required.
- 4 years of experience in Procurement.
- 3 years of experience negotiating contracts.
- Experience in Microsoft (Word Excel etc.) is required.
- Experience and skill with SAP & Viewpoint preferred.
- Proficient in development and adherence to procurement procedures and plans.
- Multi-task and provide support to multiple internal clients daily.
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5-10%).

- Ability to assess contract compliance and product/service quality.
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5-10%).
